Mary Donnelly - Durham Regional Chair
Mary retired after 37 years as a Secondary School teacher, ending her rewarding career as a principal with the TDSB. 
To add more balance to her life spiritually, she became involved with the CWL at Sacred Heart Parish, Uxbridge.
Finding herself on a small executive after her first year, she, along with the other members had to cover the various positions. As soon as the new model for the CWL was proposed, Sacred Heart CWL moved quickly to adopt it. Involved in fundraisers, speaking at membership drives and organizing the Homelessness Initiative with the local community, Mary has been able to utilize her skills as a team member, a team leader, and a motivator to recognize and promote these skills in others.
Mary is an active participant in church and CWL celebrations and spiritual endeavours. Aside from her role in the CWL, Mary is also involved in Volunteer Screening and Pastoral Care at Sacred Heart which provide a greater connection to her faith community.
As a person of faith and Catholicism as her guiding light, she is grounded in a tradition of love, compassion and service to others. She cherishes her role as a family person, and enjoys spending time with her husband, her 2 daughters and their families. Her 4 grandchildren keep her grounded and keep her passionate about making a difference. She is grateful for this next challenge to serve God and Country

Martha Whelton - Northern Regional Chair
Martha grew up in Ottawa and moved to Alliston in order to begin her teaching career. She joined the League in 1999 when friends told her it was “the right thing for Catholic Women to do”. Her parish, St. Paul the Apostle, had a very active Council and she has never looked back!
Over the years, within her own Council, she has held several roles including President. She held the Spiritual Development Chair position with the Northern Region from 2021 to 2023.
Her many travels have left her in awe of God's imagination and the wonder of His creation! One of her favorite trips was walking the Camino back in 2008; something she suggests everyone who is able to, should do.

Eden Geonzon - Scarborough Regional Chair
Over twenty years ago Eden together with her husband Lito both as Independent Skilled Immigrants along with their 
two daughters who were 7 and 8 years old arrived in Toronto from the Philippines. Their love life started at the workplace where they met and both worked as Professional Engineers.
After years of seeking a Catholic Charismatic movement group, Eden joined the CWL at her home parish of St. Maria Goretti in 2012. During her first year, she was appointed sub-convener of the Legislation and Resolutions standing committee. She later served as Secretary, President-Elect, and President at the parish level, and the regional level as Treasurer. At the diocesan level Eden was appointed as Scarborough Region Chair for 2026-2028.
Eden is very passionate about recruiting and developing members, helping them become more engaged while extending support and kindness to women, especially newcomers and those who may feel neglected or forgotten. She encourages members to grow and contribute by following the tenets of the League.
Eden is also very involved in various ministries and committees in her parish and community which includes Vice-Chairman, Finance Council of St. Maria Goretti, Treasurer of Society of Saint Vincent De Paul, and an active Fundraiser for ShareLife.
Eden’s two-decade journey in the Cosmetics Manufacturing sector has been a true inspiring, and great contribution to the brand’s core ethical values, and thus focusing on environmental protection, animal welfare, and fair-trade sourcing.
Eden and her husband Lito have been happily married for over 30 years and have blessed with two wonderful daughters.
She is looking forward in her role as Scarborough Region Chair.

Luz Mustacho - Toronto Regional Chair
Over fifty years ago, Luz left her home country and young family to explore the possibilities of working in Iran, Abu Dhabi, and 
London, England. Although life was very difficult in the Middle East as she faced barriers with the language, customs, traditions, and religion, her Catholic faith was always clear to her employers.
In Canada, her life changed where she found hope for family reunification and was embraced by the Jesuit community, which gradually shaped her into a strong church leader. She attended many workshops, public speaking seminars, evangelization courses, and Ignatian spirituality programs.
Over the years, Luz was often invited to join the CWL. When asked to emcee their activities, she was always happy to help.
Luz was also inspired by the women in her parish, whose presence was felt in many activities. She became Co-President to support the President during her illness and began taking a more active role in the League where she attended meetings at other parishes, development days, online gatherings, and conventions. She was deeply moved by everyone’s commitment, energy, and friendliness. She joined many parish ministries and committees which included, Altar Server, Lector, Eucharistic Minister, First Communion and Confirmation teacher, Parish Council, Liturgical Committee member, Baptismal Team member, Hospital Visitation Team member, and Head Usher, or Welcomer, for more than three decades.
Since then, her CWL journey became a positive way of life. With the full support of her family and parish community, Luz plans to continue this path, knowing that we do it all for the greater glory of God.
She is looking forward to her new role as Toronto Region Chair.
